Absolutely — I’d lean into the “I was a matcha skeptic → accidental matcha evangelist” arc, then let the ending feel genuinely appreciative rather than overly polished.
I had only ever had matcha from Starbucks, so I had already decided that drinking grass clippings simply wasn’t for me. Then, in May, I tried one of Oasis’s matcha drinks at a pop-up and, apparently, I was wrong about everything.
I became obsessed. I tried several matchas from places in my town and was continually unimpressed.
I live about three hours away, but I’m back in town about once a month. In June, I happened to be here over Pride weekend and Oasis was closed to celebrate. Fair enough! My newfound matcha dependency would have to wait. I couldn’t make it to town in July, so this past weekend was finally my chance.
Saturday morning, we went straight to Oasis. I told the barista that I had had the best matcha of my life there back in May. I couldn’t remember exactly what was in it, but I remembered Yuzu and vanilla cold foam. Without skipping a beat, she very sweetly—and with absolutely zero judgment—offered to call the owner and see if they could pull up the recipe.
I thanked her for the offer, but said it wouldn’t be necessary. I got my drink, and I’m happy to report that it is still the best matcha I’ve ever had.
But honestly, what stuck with me just as much as the drink was the kindness and thoughtfulness of the barista. She didn’t have to go out of her way to help me recreate a drink I vaguely remembered from months ago, but she immediately offered to do exactly that. It was such a small gesture, but as someone who works in the restaurant industry it stuck with me. - The Meadors··from Google
You are warmly greeted the moment you arrive and whisked away on a tour of this fabulous little oasis. Every corner is beautifully decorated, and the whole place smells absolutely heavenly.
I enjoyed the Blood Orange Bliss, which was delicious—but honestly, I don’t think you could order a bad drink here! We also spent some time in the salt room, and I walked out feeling like a brand-new person—relaxed, refreshed, and completely reset.

I tried the matcha here and it was lovely. I can’t wait to go back and try other drinks. The young lady who served me was kind and very knowledgeable. Thanks to her I will be looking into future classes to explore the space even more. Who knew such a gem was hidden right here in Winston!

Needling and breathwork was an effective treatment that was professionally executed. The breathing lets go of things that needed to go and increases capacity for things that need to take place. Great way to start my week.
